Ecommerce Consultancy

Brands with an ecommerce or marketing team already in place that has hit a ceiling and needs senior expertise to reach the next stage.

The problem

The team is capable but has never scaled a brand past this point. Growth has flattened, paid returns are falling, and nobody internally has seen what the next level looks like.

What you get

Senior input without handing over ownership. The team keeps running the function, with a clear plan and someone who has done it before.

Why it matters

What a team gets from senior input

A team that grows

Your people keep ownership and learn how the next stage works, so the skills stay in the business.

Pattern recognition you can't hire quickly

Someone who has taken brands through the same jump knows which problems come next.

Clear priorities

A short list of what moves revenue, so the team stops spreading itself across everything.

Flexible commitment

Ongoing or project based, with no long retainer.

What's included

  1. A review of the team, channels, trading and tech against where the brand wants to be
  2. A growth plan with priorities, owners and targets
  3. Regular sessions with the team to unblock decisions and coach on trading and performance
  4. Specialist services added where the team has a gap
How it's delivered

Common questions

What's the difference between fractional support and consultancy?

Fractional is for brands that don't yet have anyone senior owning ecommerce strategy, and embeds as ongoing part-time leadership. Consultancy is for brands that already have a team in place but need expert input to get to the next level, either as an ongoing arrangement or for a specific project.

Can I use a consultant and an agency at the same time?

Yes; it's one of the most common setups. The consultant or fractional lead sets the strategy and gives the agency clear direction and targets, so the agency's execution stays pointed at the same commercial goal instead of running its own channel-only agenda.

What if we already have a team — is fractional still right for us?

Not usually. Fractional is built for brands without anyone senior yet owning ecommerce strategy. If you already have a team but they're missing specific expertise, ETTA's consultancy model — ongoing or project-based — is generally the better fit.
